Did anyone actually take responsibility for the faulty WMD intelligence and resign as a result?

  2. Nope.

Because the fact of the matter is that the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) could not come up with anything. These analysts were under intense pressure by Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld to come up with current evidence of WMD and there was nuttin'.

The "faulty" intelligence was "cooked-up" by Condi Rice, Dick Cheney, and Colin Powell while they were engaged in a "working" visit to CIA Headquarters the week before Colin Powell's presentation to the United Nations in early February of 2003. They spent 4 full days there trying to come up with evidence of WMD. This is a fact that most staunch Bush supporters simply ignore and choose not to address.

Again, I repeat, never, ever has any of a President's cabinet gone up to CIA Headquarters for a "working" visit. George Bush Sr. dropped by a couple of times to present an award or two, but that was only because he was a former Director. So much for the CIA remaining an "independent" agency in search of the truth.

I'm afraid that the only person that has a "conscious" in this whole prostitution ring is Secretary of State Colin Powell. Atleast he admitted two weeks ago that the intelligence was not correct.
