The EV transition is real

As far as I'm concerned? Well, to start...

    1) It's far too idealistic. What happens when formidable free-riders game the system? Maybe they consider themselves simply "emerging"? Do we nuke them into oblivion? Colonize them? Shite, they might be more powerful.

    A) I'm not comfortable with the variation in people's use of the word "subsidized". You can't just give a magic "boost" to something... it first has to be produced at some expense. We're talking micro level stuff. That expense is predominantly composed of human effort and ingenuity. And, if you believe in a person's natural right to their own body and being, then it'll be nice to acquire their effort and ingenuity in a non-compulsory way. Am I asking too much on that? I thought we abolished slavery? Should civil society extract whatever is "needed" using the coercion of some central authority or mob-like majority? That doesn't sound strictly ethical to me.

    3) I'm also not comfortable with your use of the phrase "we consciously"... that implies some kind of collective conscious. How can that even exist outside of religion? Is this sci-fi, the star trek borg? Beam me up Scotty! Is that what government is supposed to be... a collective conscious? I don't think so.

    4) 5) 6)9)FE)A

I mean, there's lots of what I see wrong with "it", unless it's the beginning of a macro fairy tale maybe :(

  2. If you don't like having you facts checked, stop lying.

    You said
"There, you will find that 2/3 of vehicles are EVs, "

It's not that number. Not even close.

You made a statement of fact that was way the hell off from reality. You're just making things up.

Be a man and admit it instead of trying to pretend it didn't happen.

    Apparently not

So you are apparently saying you knowingly lied?

You're the one who claimed 90% of houses have a solar installation and a power wall. (Probably another lie). If that number was actually true, and these products actually addressed the problem they claim to, they should have plenty of electricity.

It's like saying "Every house has a dairy cow in the yard" and then finding out that the people are still buying milk.

Maybe they don't have the cows. Maybe the cows won't produce. Either way, it's not the future of agriculture when they've sunk in tons of capital up front and still have to buy from others because their stuff isn't working.

My gas cans are in a shed separate from my house because I'm not an idiot. And I'm not a druggie.
Maybe if you're hanging out in in California and so out of it you can't do basic math, we might have figured out your problem. Perhaps the lady protests too much.

It would go pretty well with the whole toxic garbage socialist vibe you have. Maybe you you should stop lying instead of telling other people to kill themselves.

Wow... Let's break this down into workable components.
1). What's your point there? Don't know if it's esoteric or paranoia.

    A) subsidized is a well defined word.
    From the Oxford dictionary:
(of an organization or activity) supported financially.
    "a subsidized industry"
having part of the cost of production paid in order to keep the selling price low.
    "subsidized food"
So, there's no ambivalence that oil, coal and gas have been subsidized by governments since man discovered their potential use, by financing their discovery, their extraction or their sale to industries or consumers.
As for the transition to electric energy, Tesla the genius and Tesla the company are science, engineering, subsidies, supply and demand all bundled in pretty much the same way dirty energies emerged. Except, we've evolved since these early days of energy generation to understand the consequences of our actions. At least some of us have.

    3) You absolutely fail to understand the fundamental of democracy. We the People vote for our government representatives who do what we would like them to do and, when they fail, we replace them. You can't reject government because your micro needs aren't met, regardless of your political affiliation, and complain about majority rule. I get that America stands for the protection of minority rights, but it's always been meant to protect minorities against violence inflicted by the majority, not for minorities to spew hatred towards other minorities or the majority. As a reminder, slavery was abolished at great cost of human suffering because some southern hillbillies thought it was just fine to keep enslaved Africans. Maybe you think this was coercion from a central authority.

You don't understand collective consciousness? What do you think elections are about? Maybe you're an anarchist living deep in the countryside, but I can assure you that there's nothing from nothing. Your thoughts are an amalgamation of parental, educational, religious and social inputs from which you attempt to formulate intellectual ideas. None of it is pure though and the sooner you accept this the sooner you will accept yourself.

Umm like picking one of the most wealthiest county in the country and claiming, see that is the future.

See: counties still drinking water out of lead pipes. Any day now they'll catch up to the (decades ago) future too.

  8. Vicbee having his own little democratic convention here on a stock traders forum..lol
    And he's already nominated Newsome.
This dude sits at home, on his computer, 24/7 ...making up stories and patting himself on the back. Very, very strange man we have here. Kind of our own resident political nutjob.

I gave you the option to block me but I also suggest you stick to the trading sections of the forum where you will not find me. Not much more I can do for you.

You think the first group of people who switched from horse and buggy to automobiles were even middle class? Did you know there are still people using horse and buggy to move about?
When will the transition be real for you, when it's obviously done with? I wonder what holds your foresight back, a blue collar conservative outlook or simply a contrarian perspective.
