Wrong. Tesla has one of the highest customer loyalty of all car manufacturers. https://images.app.goo.gl/yYbyQcUB7FUVMtVX8
Musk didn't really have a choice. Either his plug became the standard or another less efficient one would have and Tesla would need the adapter.
That's because there's almost more Tesla in CA than all other states combined. https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/tesla-sales-by-state
I know, and Fl is similar. I wonder if Baron's experience would be the same in Indiana... Or let's throw in a Michigan winter into the user experience.
To show you how far EV's need to progress in sales, in California (the #1 state) they so far make up only 2.5% of all registered vehicles in 2022. https://afdc.energy.gov/transatlas#/?view=percent
GM brands are also on par with Tesla. I guess the automakers are correct in that the consumers are stupid and deserve to be fleeced.
All well and good, but registered vehicles include all new and used. So EV's still make up a tiny slice of all vehicles on the road currently. Which means Gas Stations (with fuel pumps) aren't going anywhere for a good long while longer.
Yeah, but the battery in an EV weighs 1/2 ton. Comparing it to a cell phone battery doesn't really work. Municipalities in the U.S (very "trendy"folks) are embracing this fad. And I call it a fad for a reason. The self-combustible batteries are going to bite some group of people in the butt. Just wait until some small municipality gets electric school buses. One of them self combusts. Imagine the loss of Young lives.' The personal pain. And then the law suits. That could bankrupt an insurance company. Or a small town. All for a fad. That is sad Don't put your head in the sand. Just Google it. Electric bus bursts into flames, sets nearby vehicles on fire in China
