Well here we are at 1.2090. Seems like today was yesterday. Did yesterday even happen? Lots of indecision. An inflection point of sorts. I am still long.
Yen has been weirdly strong; any rumors of Japs' repatriating? Anyone going to start looking at TICS data again?
A lot of times I am just a HIT and RUN, I will see an immediate opportunity (within a current movement) Hit take 10 pips down on a set and forget limit and stop (like Ron Popeil). Then come back later and check the account. Sometimes I make about 20 pips a 24 hour period on that, very unstressful strategy, in the afternoon sometimes when its slow. You take the emotion away.
Try to walk away after you set up your position and forget about it for a few days, it works great and improves your trading (for position trading that is). Anyway, i'm aiming for 2214.
Now on the demo, I did that, of course, I think it was 2 lots of something, ten grand the next morning,lol. Now if I had an account with mid 5 figures and its mostly all WON MONEY, then I could do that. I'm figure I need about a half year for that. "Hey, honey, I did good today (no figures to the wife please), lets go out to dinner, no, darn it lets just take the weekend off and go to the keys"
I still think we may see some headwind in the 2155-2164 area. Some stops may trip up here and things could retreat just a little. If you do exit, look for re-entry if you get a chance. Good luck.
I decided to exit at 1.2156. I think we will see a decent retreat now. Could be wrong, but I will look to reenter early US or so depending on data action.
