the EU mess

  1. no I think I know what I am talking about.
    I have seen both worlds. Yes there is a lot of racism and prejudice and people of different races don't mingle but overall immigrants assimilate better if you make exception of the increasing share of the latino community who gives the impression they would like to be in Mexico. Immigrants are proud to become citizens or serve in the military for ex., have the same aspirations as Americans do and they speak English after a few years, they don't keep speaking their languages even 10 years after landing in the country like here. You hear English in the streets maybe spanish in CA and TX maybe but rarely anything else.
