Just an anecdote: I live in a prosperous and growing area that seems to be (at least so far) recession/real estate resistant. My local Ethan Allen is so inept that they couldn't fill a 35K order in any reasonable time frame ...even after they missed two straight delivery dates. Had to cancel the order and go custom. I'll never even attempt to do business with them again.
