The end is near: Why only in America?

  3. Because if someone on a corner of a street in a country where everyone was homeless and poor was shouting "The End is Near" all they would get is people shouting back "Thank God! I'm sick of this f'..in' place."

    Why do you let them sleep on the street? Is this anyway to treat a human?

    Last week I saw two women on the street corner with signs saying
    they were homeless and needed money. Both had brand new NIKE
    shoes on and clothes that looked like they came from an expensive store.

    There was nothing wrong with them that I could see besides the
    obvious fact that they didn't want to work or were running from the law.
    They looked like they were in the late twenties and healthy as horses.

    On the other hand I realize that a lot of homeless in America are
    Vietnam vets, and other vets that could use some help.

    So I guess not ALL of them are bums.

    But a lot of them are professional bums who are good at what they do.
