You are one guy I've missed!

Thanks to all here that have provided insight! iceman, marketsurfer, nitro...you guys have been absolutely critical in my growth as a trader. Many others have been invaluable too... Optional777, DayTraderNYC, sportsguy, sunny39...thanks so much.

This is a great community...yes, things have changed, but it's fine, things wax and wane.

  5. Take Nitro, he only averages 5 posts a day. rs7 averages 7 a day, not a whole lot. I average .4 posts a day and disappear for days at a time.

  6. Trading this crappy market, and yes, staying out of trouble mostly. :D I'm thinking about doing something else for a couple years and only trading the first hour or two...it's getting pretty boring here most of the day...specialists are out of control.

  7. GG has been a ET traitor and moved to Wealth-Lab... I see him posting quite a few these days...

ET has changed? Yes, I think so...

There's always been ET newbies and there were always regulars. I think the tone of ET is reflected with how the market is.

I see that with my fellow Chicagoan friends... They don't seem to be going out for a party as much these days. I'm mostly stuck with my GF on weekends with an occassional night out with fellow traders who had a good week but a joke about having the guy paying the bill seems to be forbidden these days.

Anyways, I enjoy ET while I'm trading well. I tend to stay out when I'm not...

I wonder how the old regulars are trading right now...

  8. ET continues to be the link between the virtual trading room and the virtual traders who are remote, or even sitting at a desk in a crowded trading room.

Seems when we vent here, we save face from having to vent publically around those whom we see daily and who would remember what we said/did.

There are other discussion groups out there, and perhaps we should review some of them as an introduction. PErhaps the crossover effect will have them close shop and join our ranks...

then there would be even more grippers and mal-contents....

    Winston

His pearls of wisdom and no-nonsense approach and straightfowardness are genuinely missed. I agree the board here has changed ( sometimes reminds me of Yahoo) though I never posted much I learned and enjoyed Seanote, Nitro and Oldtrader.

    Oldtrader, ya still out there?
