The dream to trade.

  1. Ole Handle is not the "hard ass" he is pretending to be now unless he has gotten grumpy in is "older" age. He has helped a lot of people including me. I still have his phone number tucked away somewhere.

  2. I only trade the index- everything else is just guessing. Some people are good at that I'm not. Market character changes which is why one size might not fit all, and I believe we are often out of sync, so try to be market neutral.Of course you could trade the plunge protection team's low of the day buying frenzy- works 3/4 times.

Let me expand on this if I may.
After my divorce I was single 23 years and spent all that time learning to trade by myself, no family, no wife, no kids, no mother, father brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, nothing, and very litle friends, so total zero.

My 2nd wife is terrific, but regarding trading, disagree on nearly everything.

From my point of view trading is like a religion, its personal to you.
Forget about sharing, even on ET most don't care about your system.

  5. There is another side of this, that you need to have principles that guide how you live otherwise you will fall for anything because it feels good in the moment.

  6. Did you have more kids? What happened to the existing ones, did they just disappear?!

So long as that is the life you choose to live. Who am I to tell someone else they shouldn't live life if it feels good in the moment. BTW just so you know that is not how I live my life - in the moment.

I feel the other way. Index is guessing and single stocks is not (as much)
