Yes, any of these stolen aircraft flown outside of Russia are at risk of being seized as per international law governing regarding stolen leased assets. Every one of these stolen planes will be flagged if it leaves Russia and the lease owners will demand the stolen plane be seized by local authorities at the airport. Other assets owned by the airline which stole the plane can also be seized.

Sadly some of the Putin lovers on this thread don’t appear to understand the difference between deliberately stolen property (these leased aircraft) and the assets of sanctioned individuals & companies seized under international law (e.g. the yachts of Russian oligarchs).

Yeah, the difference is simple - you say its legal vs. they say its illegal. The action is exactly the same, but the narrative is different.

Once again the drop isn't better, but the overall GDP % y/y is still much better even despite the drop.

    You said:

So if Russian GDP is dropping to 12.4% growth, and Europe's is rising to 2.7%, then we're looking at two countries/areas with GDP of 12.4% and 2.7% respectively.

The two situations are completely different. It is absurd that anyone would attempt to conflate them.

The differences under international law are starkly different.

They're only different because you believe your cause is just, and theirs isn't. But in both cases, assets are seized that don't belong to the country seizing them.

Once again the differences under international law are starkly different. You should go talk to a lawyer who specializes in this area of law and they can set you straight about your misconceptions.

I don't need to, because I can think more critically than you have ever been able to manage.

Just because one side says something is legal, the other doesn't have to accept it. Reminds me of the old west when they would deputize cowboys and suddenly all the crimes the cowboy committed was "legal". Hell, in the movie Tombstone, Doc Holiday kills Ringo and says "but this time, it's legal" and shows his badge. Everyone watching accepts the killing as legal, but its still killing. I'll bet Ringo didn't think it was any different than what he did.

Again, history is written by the winners.

Yet your “critical thinking” fails to understand that Russia is the rogue state in this situation and the West is backed by international law & the UN.

Oh, no, I understand completely. But that doesn't change the fact that the actions are the exact same thing. Only with the West, just like Doc Holiday..."it's legal".

Only people with a narrative can't tell (or rather, don't want to tell) the difference.
