Oh and more in depth (for your general education) https://thebell.io/eto-ne-fabrika-p...siya-budet-zhit-bez-zapadnoy-mikroelektroniki
Why do you spend your time on Russian sites so much? According to you Russian MSM is 100% propaganda. I honestly don't care what sanctions imposes Taiwan against Russia or any other micro developments. For now it's quite obvious economically Russia winning big time. Europe suffers enormously from its own sanctions and Russia doesn't know what to do with all those euros
I don't know that I'd go so far as to say Russia is winning anything. The story on the ground in Russia is quite sad and is going to go over the precipice very soon. But the impacts of the sanctions haven't yet begun to bite - mostly because Europe needs the energy. And they weren't united or prepared for this.
"And for Baikal and Elbrus, the main major customers are government agencies. And if the Americans want to ensure that Russian government agencies do not receive microprocessors, then the Chinese semiconductor factory SMIC, which is currently the flagship in mainland China and works mostly on Japanese and Dutch equipment, will not cooperate with Baikal and MCST. China is more dependent on the opinion of America, respectively, SMIC most likely will not quarrel with the United States because of Russia, because the volume of exports of Chinese microcircuits to the States is many orders of magnitude greater than to Russia. Nothing personal, just business. There is no economic sense of cooperation with Russia, and the risks from this will be colossal."
Delusional. "Дела в колхозе идут не то что бы плохо, даже хорошо. Но с каждым месяцем все хуже и хуже." https://www.reuters.com/business/ru...r-economy-ministry-document-shows-2022-04-27/ Russian GDP drop in 2022, according to Russian Economy Ministry's forecasts, will be 8.8% to 12.4%. Europe's GDP growth forecast for 2022 is 2.7%. #winning
Russian: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...low-forecast-slowest-since-2017-idUSKCN1SN1X9 - the forecast for 2019 was in the range of 1-2%. Real GDP growth in 2019: 2.2%. Europe: https://ec.europa.eu/info/publications/european-economic-forecast-summer-2019_en - in 2019 forecast was 1.2%. Real GDP growth in 2019: 1.55%
Just testing these numbers randomly, I get Europe in 2019 at 1.8%. https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/NY.GDP.MKTP.KD.ZG?end=2020&locations=EU&start=2000&view=chart
Different sources, different calculations, but it's not that significant. Fact remains, Russian GDP is projected to drop, hugely. European GDP is projected to increase. #winning? Russian trolls are pathetic.
