By the way, just to show how horribly incompetent Western media is in actual *investigative* journalism: This article claims that "Putin has lost his 9th colonel": https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...Putins-army-forced-send-commanders-field.html here are 19 colonels that have been confirmed dead *in Russian press*: First rank captain Andrey Paliy Colonel Denis Kurilo Colonel Yury Medvedev Colonel Alexander Bespalov Colonel Denis Shishov Colonel Sergey Savvateev Colonel Mikhail Rodionov Colonel Vladimir Zhoga Colonel Sergey Porokhnya Colonel Victor Isaykin Colonel Dimitry Safronov (Sofronov) Colonel Sergei Sukharev Colonel Alexei Sharov Colonel Ruslan Rudnev Colonel Konstantin Zizevsky Colonel Sergey Karasev Colonel Andrei Zakharov Colonel Igor Nikolayev Colonel Nikolai Ovcharenko
I'm not surprised. Journalism is a dead art in the West. It's all political activism now, and narrative pushing.
Somewhat in fairness to western journalists in regard to this current matter, it should be noted that hundreds of independent journalists that western journalists relied upon for Russian news/sources have fled the country in droves. It is requiring some regrouping and strategizing. Might never be able to get back to where they were just a month ago.
I am not in Russia. All it takes is google/yandex to compile that list. But that's too much bother for the "journalist" that put up that DailyMail article - or all the others who pick it up without checking and keep the mantra of "9 colonels dead" (I have seen it several times already).
Ok, that makes sense. And I have put in a couple orders for two specific generals to be killed. No way, I want any reporting to miss that when it happens.
“European Union officials are drafting the most contested measure yet to punish Russia for its invasion of Ukraine, an embargo on Russian oil products,” the New York Times reports. “The bloc has long resisted a ban on Russian oil because of its enormous costs for Germany and its potential to disrupt politics around the region and increase energy prices.”
To late, Putin put another 20 generals in prison for stealing 10 billion $. Your 2 favorites are probable part of that group.
