Ah. And how long do the contracts run for? Sorry to be asking such pesky details.

Why don't you find out yourself? You're the one determined to "paint" a rosy picture for Russia.

As I said, this is not an immediate thing. But there is absolutely a ruin for Russia on the horizon, with no projected good news at all. The isolation from the civilized world will only increase. Unless Putin and his gang are shipped off to Hague, apologies are proffered and reparations agreed upon.

    That's kinda what I figured you'd say.

See, if the contracts are annual, and they began in January (as an example) this could all be over before any change would be implemented. And it means nothing. Also, what % of imports do these two companies represent?

This is the problem. We both want Russia punished for its actions. But I believe that you have to start with the facts and then find where things aren't working before you just spew propaganda and wonder why it didn't later on.

That's what I figured you'd say. You don't know do you but you paint the rosiest picture possible.

Heh, yes, that's it. I have to go prove or disprove what you claim to be true.

Not sure how you learned how to debate, but that's not how it really works.

You can challenge things I post, and then I have to substantiate them. You post stuff, and I can challenge and you have to substantiate.

So far you've just called names and stuff when you don't like what I say.

ROTFLMAO. UN General Assembly overwhelmingly votes to kick Russia off the UN's Human Rights Council.

Russian Ambassador to the UN: "On April 7th Russia decided to leave the Human Rights Council."

I mean - why do they do that? It is pathetic, crude and ridiculous. It makes Russia and the ambassador who made that statement a laughing stock.

Russia should have been gone a long time ago. Same with China. The UN Human Rights Council is a laughing stock.

None of this is all that mind blowing. Its just repeating what is already known.

Too many people in this thread are worried if Russia will be able to sell its oil and not enough talk about if Russia will continue to be able to import what it needs to maintain a strong economy. Piles and piles of rupees and yuan don’t get you an advanced economy.
