The Dementia of the Rich and Famous

  1. This is big progress: at least they are staying alive. In the 60's/70's all the young superstars were rock musicians and a lot of 'em died such as Morrison, Moon, etc. And a lot of them didn't kill themselves but instead killed their grey matter: Ozzy, K Richards, etc.

It just goes to show how few people can handle money and power...

  2. Add the Clintons with their $100 million in income over the last 7 years.

Said they gave $10 million to charity but the only charity listed was the Clinton Foundation and all of that money was given in the last six months.

Nothing is ever as it appears with them.

  4. A-Rod

He can have any woman he wants yet he cheats on his hot wife so he can be with an old, menopausal, ugly, crazy woman (Madonna).

    What a demented fool.

  6. Just as in any sampling of society, your average rich individual runs the gamot.

I look for the richest unknowns....generally the most stable and hardworking of the crowd. Engrossed in what they do, loving it, and camera shy.

  7. Dusty Springfield left her money to her cat, and even provided money for the cat's wedding. So it wouldn't be alone?

  8. Name a few out of curiosity...

  9. If I named them, they would not then be relatively unknown, now would they?

With a little work on the inet you can come up with reams of names of those who 'work' for it and have little time for glitz.

With a little more work you can find those who are born to it and shun the limelight for historic and current reasons. A search of 'black nobility' and 'ground rent' is a good start. The frontmen of 'Rome'...never lacked for funds.

No well-adjusted person wants to become famous. Being "rich" is also a burden - better to just be well-off enough to retire and have some play money e.g. $20-30 mill.

And if you think the rich and famous are demented, have you checked out the poor and unknown? They are WAY more fucked up and freakish.
