The delta variant has a mutation that’s worrying experts: Here’s what we know so far

  1. People read into history what they want to make their political cases.

The polio vaccination campaign got off to a roaring start when the new vaccine came out.

Then the so-called Cutter Incident occurred whereby hundreds of chlldren either died or were paralyzed from the vaccine and tens of thousands were infected with polio from the vaccine. It was a manufacturing flaw but as we have seen the current pharamaceutical mfg have also put on some clown shows and are fully capable of screwing up bigtime.

The point being that, yes, the sheep lined right up, and probably much good resulted. But for those who were skeptical and wanted to wait a bit until more was known, arguably there a very good basis for that. AND THEY SHOULD NOT BE DEMONIZED THEN OR NOW FOR SUCH.

My recounting of that Cutter incident is generally correct. No doubt you can google around and correct some numbers by a a few dozen but the point stands.

So back then did we have numerous Republicans running around making false vaccination claims, shouting about their "freedum" to not be vaccinated. I think not. Go read your political history.

  3. FAIL.

Quite a few people learned the hard way that it would have nice if there were at least some people questioning and monitoring before they died or became paralyzed from the sheep accepting the cure to the point where the manufacturers were not held to account and oversight. Until after the disaster.

    ZeroHedge pushing absurd news headlines.

LOL -- Let’s be amused while Zero Hedge pushes the Russian vaccine which Putin is unable to get his own population to accept.

Now for news from a reputable source. Sweden merely has extended their paused for using the Moderna vaccine for younger people while they complete their review. It should be noted that a study already stated that an individual would have over 100X more probability of having heart problems from catching Covid than from the Moderna vaccine.

Only traitors help Zerohedge as you well know. The Moderna vaccine was suspended for underThe virus can cause acute myocardial injury and chronic damage to the cardiovascular system. 30s and this has been extended. They do use it.

Covid-19 on the other hand regularly causes acute myocardial injury and chronic damage to the cardiovascular system.

The new extended pause, is there a end point? No, hence indefinitely at this point. Zerohedge wasn’t wrong, you don’t like the way it’s worded.

Might try looking in the mirror when being hypocritical about misleading and exaggerated headlines.

I'm the one that's discussed this issue in another thread involving which age groups are not suitable for a particular vaccine and why including explaining my own health history (twice as a youth with Myocarditis and Heart Murmurs) from vaccines...

I was very tall for my age plus putting a lot of unusual cardio stress (I competed on the Jr. National team as a youth).

In those same message posts here at ET...I then stated I had complete physicals and blood chemistry work and the same for my teenagers about 30 days before vaccination and again about 30 days after vaccinations.
    • You did in fact post in the same thread and maybe that's why you remember to look up information about Moderna for youths ???
Regardless, due to my medical history that includes a life-threatening coma in 2016 plus my allergies to a particular component in two vaccines...J&J and AstraZeneca vaccines were flagged by my Doctor to have a high risk of causing a severe side effect or worst...

The Reason for my vaccination with Moderna and my teenagers were vaccinated with Pfizer (not Moderna). As stated several times in different threads, here in Canada...there was an advisory that Moderna was not approved for teenagers.

Just as important just in case someone doesn't watch the advisory about vaccines...the portal registration for vaccination will catch mistakes made by people. For example, when I registered for my vaccination and with my documented medical history input by my doctor...
    • J&J and AstraZeneca did not show up as vaccines available to me and Moderna did not show up as a vaccine available to my teenagers along with the fact that I educated my teens about the reason why they can not take the Moderna via explaining to them my medical history with vaccines as a youth.
By the way, as I mention I had Myocarditis twice as a youth after the Flu vaccination...it was a very mild side effect and not noticeable by me but only picked up in a complete physical that I had to take for Crew (rowing team). My doctor then did not prescribe any medication to treat Myocarditis because he said it would clear up on its own within one month...it did in fact clear up on its own.

Also, fast forward again to 2021, the month after my teenagers' vaccination with Pfizer...the advisory for Moderna here in Canada was changed to being approved for teenagers.
    • Myocarditis is a known problem for +40 years for very active youths as athletes. It's one of the reason why collegiate sports required complete physicals with team doctors that are trained to catch something like that in North America.
Currently, both Canada and the United States do not mandate Moderna for teenagers or small children. You shouldn't be concerned unless you're a teenager or have teenagers with a medical history that shows a problem with any type of vaccination.

Maybe you need to read mainstream reliable news sources -- the pause is extended until the government completes its study. They provided a projected time line for completion.

"Crippling Heart Condition" in a headline is laughable when describing mild mycarditis that most patients recover from quickly.

Maybe you need to stop posting misleading nonsense from Russian propaganda outlet, Zero Hedge.

Myocarditis and Pericarditis After mRNA COVID-19 Vaccination

    Updated Sept. 8, 2021

CDC and its partners are actively monitoring reports of myocarditis and pericarditis after COVID-19 vaccination. Active monitoring includes reviewing data and medical records and evaluating the relationship to COVID-19 vaccination.

Myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle, and pericarditis is inflammation of the outer lining of the heart. In both cases, the body’s immune system causes inflammation in response to an infection or some other trigger. Learn more about myocarditis and pericarditis. Seek medical care if you or your child have symptoms of these conditions within a week after COVID-19 vaccination.

    What You Need to Know
    • Cases of myocarditis reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS)external icon have occurred:
      • After mRNA COVID-19 vaccination (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), especially in male adolescents and young adults,
      • More often after the second dose
      • Usually within several days after vaccination
    • Most patients with myocarditis or pericarditis who received care responded well to medicine and rest and felt better quickly.
    • Patients can usually return to their normal daily activities after their symptoms improve. Those who have been diagnosed with myocarditis should consult with their cardiologist (heart doctor) about return to exercise or sports. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
Both myocarditis and pericarditis have the following symptoms:
    • Chest pain
    • Shortness of breath
    • Feelings of having a fast-beating, fluttering, or pounding heart
Seek medical care if you or your child have any of these symptoms, especially if it’s within a week after COVID-19 vaccination.

If you have any health problems after vaccination, report them to VAERSexternal icon.

Healthcare Providers: For additional recommendations and clinical guidance, visit Clinical Considerations: Myocarditis after mRNA COVID-19 Vaccines | CDC

Should I Still Get Myself or My Child Vaccinated?

Yes. CDC continues to recommend that everyone aged 12 years and older get vaccinated for COVID-19. The known risks of COVID-19 illness and its related, possibly severe complications, such as long-term health problems, hospitalization, and even death, far outweigh the potential risks of having a rare adverse reaction to vaccination, including the possible risk of myocarditis or pericarditis.

If you or your child has already gotten the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine, it’s important to get the second dose unless a vaccination provider or your doctor tells you not to get it.

If you have concerns about COVID-19 vaccination, talk with your or your child’s doctor, nurse, or clinic.

    https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/safety/myocarditis.html

    ---------

The CDC should have stated above that youths and children can still be vaccinated with another vaccine if a parent has concerns about Myocarditis especially now that mix-match of vaccines has been approved.

For example, pretend your child has already had a 1st dose of Moderna but you then heard about other countries (not the United States) are temporarily pausing Moderna as they further review it...

You can then have your child get the 2nd dose as Pfizer instead of Moderna. In fact, Sweden and Denmark do recommend Pfizer vaccine for youths while they review the data about Moderna for youths that have yet to be peer-reviewed.

I apologize for not feeding anyone with a fearmongering "Crippling Heart Condition" headline.
