If you have diabetes and you die in a car crash, you didn't die from fucking diabetes. If you are older than the average life span and you die from COVID, that doesn't make it less of a tragedy either. Sometimes I wonder to myself, if the virus disproportionately killed infants and the very young instead of the old, would the republicans act the same. Would we see hissy fits in grocery stores over masks etc... I don't know the answer for certain, but I tend to think maybe not.
