The days when trend traders get kicked hard?

let's say your trend trades have good entries signal.

How do you know when the trend is getting stronger or not ? only when it is reversing or do you use some stochastic..? just wondering

Why not run one trend following system on another's equity curve?

if chop > (value) then positionsize = 0 else positionsize = lvg*accountequity*riskamt
