The dark side is that profitable trading is routine. No place for emotions, basically you work with data, gather, backtest, change something, check live performance, etc. Not quite different from other job like accountant. The only difference is that it requires incomparably higher level of skill and knowledge possible from completely different subjects.
Many traders consciously switch to the dark side of trading when they try to earn a lot and quickly. Therefore, they trade with greed and passion, do not observe risks, do not know how to wait and want to constantly be in the market for more earnings. Therefore, they do not succeed and only annoyance and disappointment remain in their souls.
