Hey guys here's a thought experiment. Women supposedly get paid .70 on the dollar right? (Not true, but bear with me.) The biggest expense by far at most companies is compensation. So why don't I just start a company employing ONLY women, to do damn near anything, and thereby immediately undercut my competition while still enjoying increased margin?
I think the 70 cents includes missed promotions etc. In my company the women tend to be better employees than the men. They have to be that much tougher to survive in manufacturing.
You thought wrong. And for fun, you can make it the first case of it's kind by trying your idea, and watch men file a class-action suit with the EEOC against you for being bold. After all, fortune favors the bold.
