The Danger of the “Black Lives Matter” Movement

Discussion in 'Politics' started by gwb-trading, Feb 15, 2018.

  1. In far too many instances, arguably most instances, every "movement" turned violent started with a "just cause". In the end a just cause just gives people a license to justify acts of violent and a permission slip to kill. Beware the angry man who lays claim to his just cause as his reason for being there, for that man is no longer interested in conversation.

It’s incredible to me that people ignore the injustice and try to criminalize these issues. I don’t know anyone who thinks that people should be subjected to unequal treatment but they oppose the movement for equal treatment. How do you do that? The outcome is continued unequal treatment and civil unrest.

And the super majority of police officers are good. That never seeps into your narrative.

  5. Maybe your buddies over at CNN will hire a couple looters as contributors so that we can get "the real story."

Let’s not forget when Collin Kapernick peacefully protested your buddies called him a son of a bitch and banned him from employment in his trade.

  7. Good.

No one did or will argue that if someone has a social justice beef that they should work that issue to the extent they wish, when they are not on their employers time and business site.

Oh I see, you and your ilk are all in favor of some players taking a knee to protest abortion and holding up pictures of aborted children as part of the opening of every game.

    Yeh right. Not.

  8. Colin was protesting against something that was illegal but happening a lot with little being done to stop it. He did not bring on any signs or props that were against NFL rules.

The National Anthem is not even a requirement to have at games or mandated by law, we just do it.

When Trump was acting a clown during the anthem I did not hear one peep about him showing disrepsect to the armed services.

Abortion is legal actually within the law and if a player brought in signs or pictures they would be violating NFL and team policy and not allowed. However they could still talk about it all they want.

  10. Does his employer have anything to say about what happens at the employers work site and on the employers time and dime?

Nevermind. Dont want to replay the whole issue. We know it all has to do with whether the issue being advanced is a lefty one or not. Let someone take a knee to pray on the field and you got a whole difference set of arguments and are all twitchy.
