This is false. The state legislature ( you used the term, party) can send whomever they choose to The Electoral College with very few restrictions.

Man do you just bash your head into brick walls for fun or do you like people thinking you’re the dumbest person on the planet?

Here are the preselected electors for Georgia for all parties on the presidential ballot:

Electors in the states have not been chosen yet. It's not yet certified who won each state. Please pay attention. ----The state legislature also has the final say on who goes to The Electoral College. The current status of electors is that they have been nominated. They have not been chosen yet.

Wrong. State legislatures do not have the power to override the election held in their states. What you are referring to is the state legislatures can select how the winning candidates electors are chosen. There are two ways used by all states, either a party convention or party committee.

Even so, Georgia’s law is already on the books and passing an ex post facto law would be unconstitutional itself.

This is of course false. The states can send whatever electors they wish to since they control the method by which they are chosen. Popular elections are not required by The Constitution of The US at all.

It is nice to know that the business leaders are on the side of truth:

By the way there is one logical explanation for Trump's behaviour beside coup, it is called grift. As long as the election isn't settled, he can ask for donations for his "legal election" fund but he uses that money to pay back debts from his campaign or whatever he wants to.

  10. This coming from the guy who made a thread about no one caring about Canada. There's no evidence of a coup though.
