It's actually surprising that the number isn't higher given the constant barrage of media-Dem falsehoods and the oversampling of Dems in media outlet polls.

The Turks were planning on invading Syria whether the US troops were there or not. President Trump removed them from Syria for their own safety. This was the only correct move.

  3. Lots of ballsy words and actions and noise by the demmerhoids on this impeachment thing.

So when has Pelosi scheduled the vote to officially begin the process and get everyone on record?

Oh, I see. She is still waiting for Speaker of the House AOC to let her know.

  4. it would be nice but you DO NOT need a vote to start the process.

  5. Depends on how you define "process." If you want to define it as beginning to think about and talking about impeaching, well then that is just bloviating but if that is what you call a process, then fine.

Gets complicated very fast though when you attempt to initiate legal processes to compel certain actions and to do discovery. Congress needs to be able to show that its actions support either a legislative purpose or a valid legally and constitutionally launched impeachment. If they can't do that, well then that's where the court battles begin. Or should I say "began" now since the legal battles have already begun.

What Democrats are basically saying with regard to Biden, is that if you want to be immune from any kind of prosecution, then just run for president and your actions will be off limits (unless your name is Donald J Trump).

  7. As I mentioned, I would like to see a vote since I would love to see the dems grow some balls and actually stand up for something once. they have the house majority so they should take advantage of it.
as for the process, they are in the investigative phase of the impeachment and as other investigations, folks have the right to be represented with or without counsel. there is no mention of a vote requirement anywhere in the constitution, to start the impeachment process. this is just one branch of the government with equal power to other branches exercising its rights to maintain the checks and balances.

  8. who cares about Biden. if he has done wrong I hope he goes down as hard as Trump, by the end of his impeachment proceedings.

PS. you are still a fake-ass conservative idiot pretending to be a constitutional scholar.

  9. That's for the courts to decide. And trump is resisting requests from Congress so it is before the courts to decide. As I said, Congress has to tie a request to a valid legislative purpose and cannot just carry out investigations of individuals or presidents. That is the job of the executive branch. The exception to that is when they have a lawfully launched and congressionally approved/voted upon impeachment in process because they have separate authority - beyond legislation- to carry that out.

The courts will either side with Trump or Trump will burn up several months or more in having it before the courts. I note your objection in advance and assertion that Congress can do what is trying to do even without a vote- and that is fine. But does not change anything. The little plan to have this all over and done with by the end of October- as many of the dems said they wanted- is dead in the water. And Barr and Horowitz stand ready to dump the Horowitz report and all the material that Trump ordered declassified right after the impeachment is launched if it goes that way.

    Enjoy!!!!!

Yes---it's part of The House Rules that an impeachment inquiry needs to be authorized by the full House of Representatives. One of the reasons for this is that the full House needs to outline the scope and the guidelines for conducting such an inquiry. What you have going now is an illegal inquiry. Normally, you would have Republicans and Democrats both involved in the process of the inquiry and also have president's counsel be informed of the goings on along with discovery. This is what's known as due process. Thus, the Administration is quite right in not complying with requests from the illegal inquiry.
