  1. High school teacher tells class a Confederate flag means "you intend to marry your sister"
    By Caitlyn O'Kane

    October 5, 2019 / 7:45 AM / CBS News

A high school teacher in Georgia was placed on administrative leave after allegedly posting a message in her classroom saying the Confederate flag symbolizes one's intent to "marry your sister."

The controversial message offended one Hephzibah High School student, who told her mom the teacher put a photo of the Confederate flag on the board with text saying: "A sticker you put on the back of your pickup truck to announce that you intend to marry your sister. Think of it like a white trash 'Save the Date' card."

I recommend not paying attention to polls that get released by major media outlets or players like Gallup or Quinnipiac. This admonition particularly applies to so called "impeachment" polls. These folks are heavily tilting their samples towards Democrats/Libprogs. They are in cahoots with The Left and are using polls to influence, rather than reflect, public opinion.

Poll: Majority of Americans say they endorse opening of House impeachment inquiry of Trump

A majority of Americans say they endorse the decision by House Democrats to begin an impeachment inquiry of President Trump, and nearly half of all adults also say the House should take the additional step and recommend that the president be removed from office, according to a Washington Post-Schar School poll.

  5. It's a bullshit poll that leads the witness every step of the way.

    For example it asks:

"As you may know, Congress has begun an impeachment inquiry that could lead to Trump being removed from office. Do you think Congress should or should not have begun an impeachment inquiry of Trump? Do you feel that way strongly or somewhat?"

Ahhh no. Congress has NOT begun an impeachment inquiry. The democrats have and it has not been approved by a vote of Congress which is requirement when saying that is something that congress is doing versus just some congressmen.

So let's revise the question a little, shall we?

"As you may know, the democrats have begun an impeachment inquirty that has not been approved by a full vote of Congress. Do you believe that they should or should not seek approval of the full House before proceeding further?"

The Idiot Dems have really stepped in it now. They put the cart before the horse and now there is no easy way out. If they go forward with impeachment and lose, which they will, then Trump is strengthened.---- If they drop the impeachment, then Trump is strengthened. The majority of Americans believe that this is all political. The framers purposely intended impeachment to be non-political.

  7. Howz that plan by the dems to have this whole thing over by the end of October looking? You know so that they could make some ballsy moves to satisfy their progressive constituents and to satisfy Speaker of the House Alexandra Ocasio Cortez, but then go back to campaigning on the issues?? BECAUSE THEY DID NOT/DO NOT WANT THE FOCUS OF THE PRIMARY SEASON TO BE ALL ON IMPEACHMENT.

Maybe I got that wrong and they meant October of next year.

    Idiots.

It's getting pretty nutty too. Kamala the Cop sees this focus on impeachment to be the savior of her campaign. Yeh, I know, nutty. So, I doubt that she wants it over by the end of October.

It could be over by the end of October if the Senate votes to dismiss but that would not be pretty for the dems. And I would not get to see Joe and Hunter and the whistleleakers and all the swamp creatures being cross-examined. I would not like that. If we go as far as sending it into the Senate, then a guy has to have some fun. The republican senators too.

A super majority including McConnell agree Trump's newest move, done without any consultation, is against the nation's interests but.. no talk of returning from break. What principle indeed.

Reader---one thing to remember is that in The US, the executive branch is unitary------ie made up of one person---and that individual has the sole voice for establishing foreign policy. Most Libprogs fail to consider this.

  10. Congress has shared powers with the President on foreign policy. What you know about the Constitution could not fill a sperm.

And the issue is not whether he could do what he did, it is that everyone other intelligent person in his cabinet and in the GOP thinks it was a stupid shitty move that only serves his personal business interests and releases ISIS back in the region.
