It's been very interesting to see how the idiot Dems here simply regurgitate the talking points with no basis in any kind of reality----and no intellectual honesty. I have also noticed that posting count has decreased dramatically now that the worm has turned.----Ishmael

  6. "It may good to identify what Conservatives believe. Each person may have variants but what follows is what I believe conservatism to be.

--Strict adherence to The Constitution and respect for what the founders envisioned for the country."

    ..which only needed 27 amendments..

the constitution was a good start but is old insufficient and outdated. Progress is better than adhering to old stupid stuff.

But that is exactly what Amendments are for. Do you realize you make a fool of yourself? You contradict yourself.

  9. Changing the constitution and its amendments?
The amendments were added to address issues the Constitution failed to cover or things that needed to be changed. The power of he document is its ability to be changed or updated via amendment or judicial interpretation.

I would be curious to know what was the Golden Age of the Constitution for you?

I've heard people on The Left say that The Constitution should be a living document. By that, they mean that judges should be able to change The Constitution themselves. What these miscreants don't impart to you is that The Constitution IS a living document due to the fact that it can be amended----not by judges , but by The States. --The Left would have you believe that they are in favor of democracy , however it's their side that hates democracy and embraces tyranny.
