    I don't agree.
    The max DD are:
    1. for target 80: -48.88%
    2. for target 110: -41.92%

I think you are making the wrong calculations. To me the max DD is calculated as the close of the day value compared to the highest previous high.

Chart based on sample from your data for target 80: I took period 14 oktober 2011 till 7 march
    2012.

The top was just above 3500 and then you went down to below 2000. That is a drawdown of over -42%. But for you it is only -6,71%??? :wtf:
You do not only have a magical trading system, you also have a magical DD calculation system.

    Here is the chart:
    test.jpg

What you post has zero value as long as it is not in real trading. The fact that you put so much effort and importance on these hypothetical fantasies proofs that you never traded in real life. As you would not post all this and would trade instead of breaking the record of most frequent poster on ET in 1 month time.

You say ET is just for entertainment, and that's what you do: entertain.
I had already a lot of good laughs. :D

Maybe you should Buy a good Trading Education. :finger::p

  5. I am not a day trader , but also I think you are referring to relative drawdown or intraday drawdown .I am using the mt4 definition.I used a 20,000 starting equity , and my maximum drawdown was <8 %

  6. In calculating drawdowns , you need to include a starting trading capital of say x thousands.

How can you guys have no starting equity capital ?You can not trade without money

    Classic Dunning kruger act

  7. Never mind starting capital, stop bullshiting people.Your worst intraday DD(just at a glance it maybe worse) - -11%;your worst end of month DD is almost - -50%.Add commisions, slippage and latency and blah blah blah and your DD would be CLOSE TO 100%.No one would give a shit on a relative DD!You are a bum that confuses the crowd.Should be expelled for leading people astray!Should not be allowef under "Educator" banner, your a con artist!

You posted charts from DAX, DJIA and TOTAL. So that was the evolution of the equity. At least that is what normal people show.
You should have shown charts based on equity, but you based them on profit only, Dunning Kruger.
The correct chart would have been this one, which looks far less spectacular:
    test.jpg

Your compounded rate of return is about 18.50% for a DD of 7.50%.

I have this year a return of over 100% for a DD of below 17%. And I surely have no holy grail. So your holy grail is probably a holy grail but only for you.

  9. Sorry you getting mixed up .The enclosed is the back tests combined , without 20,000 equity , actually for 2 instruments you need 20,000 starting capital , 46,000 ticks .

With £50,000 I should get about 100,000 ticks in 5 years , based on this back test.
