Yes investment advisors should act in the best interest of clients but Market Makers cannot do so, it totally defeats the purpose. If I go to a shop the seller wants to make money and I want to save it, so if the item is below my personal value for the good I buy it and if it is above the sellers cost he sells it, done deal don't cry if it turns into a loss.
