Thurs. 10/26 1:15pm Dow+2 Not alot of time so here's the condensed version of what the mighty "Ball" is saying for this afternoon: + (that's POSITIVE meaning STRONG Market action) "R" out
MON. 10/30 1:15pm dow+1 "The mighty "Ball" says she's gonna be FLAT this afternoon, therefore I'm going to grab my clubs and head out to the range." G'Day All, Rennick out
Tues. 10/31 1:15pm dow -49 The mighty "Ball" is NEGATIVE calling for further WEAK Market action this afternoon.Stay the course boys. Rennick out
Did anyone see how the S&P dropped when Rennick issued his call? The original source issued his call at 1:11 PM EST. Rennick issued his call at 1:13 PM. The S&P, ER2, NQ and YM all dropped. Have a look at yesterday. Look for yourselves. The ball has issued some conflicting signals of late. Is it possible that: A) The signal is suffering from having too many followers, or B) There is an element of manipulation going on? I have insufficient knowledge of these matters so I would value the opinion of others. Full disclosure: I follow the signals for academic interest, I do not trade them. ETUser.
you bet your ass there homie. the friggen ball kicks ass. gramps for whatever reason is not posting like he used to. i really miss his schtick and relaying of the calls. today for example, the 'ball" called for continued weak action for the afternoon. awesome call as usual, the only time it's ever wrong is when breaking news occurs after the call is made. the effect of surprising news is fully warned against on the balls site. i've been a member for a few months now and it's made this newbie trader profitable right from the start. plus for only 30 bucks a month having this kind of edge is a no brainer. the shack
My interpretation of the accuracy of the predictions is not as enthusiastic as is yours. But do note the timing of the market action relative to that of the ball's and then the timing of Rennick's posts. Question: Do you think Rennick is trading ahead of his postings? Of course he is.
I have a question: "The Ball" offers an edge to overall market direction, more often than not. But... where & when does one enter exactly, precisely in order to profit from such predictions? Said another way, there is no way to "front run" or sabotage the calls... they are too generic in nature. What is a trader to do? Hit buy or sell the moment they read its prediction? Which prediction? The actual call? Rennick's relay? Not to mention each user getting the "news" and then acting upon it live in the market is a deliberate process, not an instant event. Nice bias filter, far better than nothing, worth $30 per month. Other than that, it offers nothing per specific trade entries that lets a trader use it exclusively for profit over the long haul NOR can it be overwhelmed by traders' volume.
