  2. Spread a rumor of a decline and then buy into the close for a bear squeeze on those who don't want to hold overnight?

  4. That's probably true but that doesn't mean that those who instigate or profit from such subterfuges are beyond manipulating those who do post to chat rooms and forums. A quick and cheap way of getting it out there.

  6. Do you or have you known any big money or pit traders? I was told by some of them that were formerly, that many, if not all, are totally without conscience. They're good sales people and the easiest person to sell to is one's self. If you had a more powerful computer it would make you a better trader wouldn't it? :) For example, if they take your money by a subterfuge they could justify it in their minds by convincing themselves that they are adding to your education.

Without getting into semantics over liquidity and what-have-you they may ask themselves if the money they have taken was from someone who was truly investing or just out for a fast buck?

  7. I prefer the simpler explanation; Mom and Pop America is jumping on to this bandwagon. ergo; up she goes and the sell off should happen soon!

No M.I.B.'s there at all,at all.

  8. I expect you're right but if so do you think there'll be a sell off before or after the election? In another thread someone said "the powers that be" are switching money from sector to sector to prop it up. Personally I doubt that US politicians and its rich and powerful would be so unethical.
