  1. The destinies of men are subject to immutable laws that must fulfill themselves. But man has it in his power to shape his fate, according as his behavior exposes him to the influence of benevolent or of destructive forces. When a man holds a high position and is nevertheless modest, he shines with the light of wisdom; if he is in a lowly position and is modest, he cannot be passed by. Thus the superior man can carry out his work to the end without boasting of what he has achieved.....

    Long live Rennick..!

  3. THURS. 8/17 1:55 pm Dow +24

An annoyed Rennick who got stopped out this morning has entered the room and approaches the mighty "Chrystal Ball". After a slow rub down to bring the ball to clarity Rennick will now speak

"The orb which was negative this morning is now calling for "STRONGISH" Maket action and a continuation of the current up-trend. Those who are holding short positions would be wise to get out around 2:30 pm where I see a counter-trend reaching it's peak. Those who are long stay the course. That is all, so it said, so shall it be."

    The Amazing Rennick has spoken:cool:

  4. Today's trading was slow but "easy" (if there ever is such a thing in this game): buy the daily pivots = multiple support on opening dip, cover for at least +4pts ES / +4pts ER later on.

Afternoon trades: short ER 715.00 / ES 1303.50 (open)

Hold for at least +4pts ES / +4pts ER with stops now at par, and that's pretty much the day.

  5. This is the chronicles of rennick...not the chronicles of austinp. If it was really that easy, post your blotter in the traderP&L thread for all to see.

Anyone who has been trading for a while knows the only "easy" day was yesterday!

  6. My apologies to Rennick... absolutely no disrespect meant on my part.

I'll save the real-money posts for a dedicated string in the future. As noted here aptly, this is the Crystal Ball thread.

Keep up the excellent work, Rennick. I do love your gift of wordsmithing... you have the enviable knack for making sometimes dry topic content very entertaining to read :>)

  10. FWIW, The 2.30 counter-trend call was all Rennick. The ball didn't give that.

    Good call.
