Top colleges get credit they may not deserve. They get young, energetic, hungry kids with, say, a median SAT score of 760. Those kids are going to be successful even if they don't go to a top school. The "raw materials" have already ensured success. Plus, I have an MBA from a top 20 school. I use almost nothing of what they taught in my current work.

I now have serious doubts about your "MBA from a top school" Plus, I have an MBA from a top 20 school. I use almost nothing of what they taught in my current work. Master's in Basic Alchemy? Anyway, Wal-Mart cashiers generally do not need MBAs from any school...
College does not seem to produce people with good math skills. *The U.S. ranks 25th among 30 industrialized nations in math scores, down near Serbia and Uruguay. U.S. students thought they had the highest grades of any nation in the study, however. http://redtape.msnbc.com/2009/12/wh...alked-about-systemic-hidden-fee-fraud-al.html
Liz went through the McD training while working to earn spending money for college. She feels it was really helpful as a foundation in doing administration. I'm sure it wasn't me the colleges were approving as much as the ticket that went with the full scholarship and support funds. I feel really supported by ET; even my typos are considered spelling errors.
Very Interesting comment. Where I am working now as a "temp" (they call it "Agile employee") almost 70% of the workforce is FEMALE. Wonder why. Over 40 and male in the USA ? Welcome ...you are the new "niggah" ! I'm really interested in that new show coming up..."Men of a Certain Age". That's a "tell".
