    I don't think that meditation can cure anything. But mental rest in on itself is a positive thing, as it can help one focus on looking for actual solutions.

  3. If you really want to start on the meditation and not waste your time, try to find a good retreat.
    Then take it from there.

    Yeah, that's true... Though I guess it's all a matter of priority - if you really feel like you need a retreat, you'll find a way to get it.

    Perhaps. More often than not that, however, happens at the expense (not necessarily financial) of someone else, someone you care about.
