The Bush legacy: It just keeps getting better...

  1. Would that be the same Michael Fumento who wrote The Myth of Heterosexual AIDS: How a Tragedy Has Been Distorted by the Media and Partisan Politics?

And wasn't he the guy who claimed to be a skeptic towards claims that man-made chemicals cause cancer in humans? The guy who was promoting Monsanto while working at the Hudson Institute think tank but who "forgot" to mention that he was accepting "grants" from Monsanto? This little tidbit only came out in an investigative report in Business Week.

Yeah, Michael Fumento is the go-to guy for objective science. Why waste your time on a surgeon general with a hidden agenda, right?

  2. The surgeon general doesn't necessarily need an agenda, only those who have access to him need an agenda. You know this.

HIV/AIDS. Didn't read that book but BIAS in the media covers the same subject. An agenda. A soccer mom on the cover of Time to dispel the myth of drug use/gays only.

Interesting developement. OSUR devloped oral swab for hiv test (20 minute result/blood test=days), rather than blood test. It could be marketed over the counter, you know why its not approved OTC? No need for walk in clinics in san fran or anywhere else, no need to fund them. Can't have that. Gay rights activists lobbied the FDA with that agenda.

As far as Fumento, he doesn't do research, he only examines existing research. He said/ she said and offers it up.

You believe the surgeon general, gov't?

Who works and writes for free? If you're charged with a crime and you hire someone to find facts, are the facts worthless because you paid for them and not the defense?

Man you have a really fucked up logic. Who the fuck is in charge now? Bush is. So lets stay on topic. You're like a little kid saying "but but but...what about clinton????" You idiot, he's been long gone. Keep apologizing for this monkey in office. Bush can do no wrong in your eyes. We get your point. Clinton was an asshole. Now admit bush is an asshole too. You can do it.
