    Why are so many of these type threads showing up lately?
     
  5. I guess people are being faked-out.

    I saw on another forum a person asking for a confirmation indicator of another indicator. I'm afraid that the only confirmation signal that I know of is the price action itself.

    I Googled BSFI and got Beaty Salon Furniture, Inc. That's not the type of business that I wish to get into right now. However, I'm sure that money can be made there.

    I wonder what percentage of successful traders:

    1.) Adjusts their methods to perceived market conditions
    2.) Stick to one method regardless of market conditions; and
    3.) Use multiple strategies simultaneously?
     
  9. If you daytrade, you HAVE to switch your methods based on market conditions. Some days you can get away with certain things and other days you will get smoked trying the same thing. The key is to indentify early on how the market is trading and quickly switch gears accordingly.
