What ever Jack’s motives are, he is not asking for $, and that alone says a lot. And he does spend a lot of time here on ET helping (or not helping from some people point of view) others.

The interesting thing however is this. I have read Spyder and Jack’s futures journal thread and compared their entries to mine, and they matched very closely even though I use a totally different method and different charts type.

no matter which method you use if it is any good it should fire off the signal at the same time.

  5. I too gotta defend Gerry on this.

There are some non-english speaking traders here at ET (including myself) that speak multiple languages while many of those that complain about our grammer only are able to speak or write one language.

Heck, I even get private emails once in awhile by ET members saying they would read my messages about trading if my English would improve.

    :p

I usually reply back and say if others understand what I writing while you (the guy that sent the pm) don't understand...

There may be a problem with your english comprehension skills.

I guess a lot of traders at ET think the forum is only available to North Americans.

    :D

maybe those who complain don't even know that the internet is WORLDwide...

btw. - Mark - i didn't know - and would've never thought that YOU are not a native speaker.

anyway - just another evidence for some sort of US-arrogance.

... even their president can't speak decent english.

    thanks a lot.

yes - that seems to be true - no asking for $.

but one point there is - and has always been in all those years since that soapopera started - that they do not answer ALL questions.

another thing is that - i have to say it again - the no.1 claim is that you can make 3 times the daily range on ES - consistently.

but so far - has anyone seen any evidence? there are many superintelligent (... or should i say - supergreedy...?) people around. but nobody so far has been willing or able to start a journal and trade that "sct" - thing and demonstrate those results.

  8. Can't we all just ge along!!!!!!

    :D

There's a place for everyone that wants to be successful in trading. Hell, if there was one way to be successful then there would be no market. What I find funny is how many people get ruffled on this board when they are challenged at all. It's the INTERNET people, everyone's sexy, a millionaire, and we ALL got the killer "SYSTEM".

I once had an English teacher that said all authors are judged by the same critic. That critic is the ULTIMATE judge of success and failure. That critic is TIME. If you're a good trader and successful, time will tell. If you are a good trader and successful, nobody with any system on any message board is going to be able to deter you or make you change.

With all this being said, just do your own thing. Listen to Jack and take what you want and leave what you want. Personally I haven't really looked into any of his ideas because I don't need to at all. I'm sure he's a good guy and has something to give for someone, that's just not me. One thing good traders learn VERY EARLY is that you HAVE TO BE YOUR OWN MAN. You, and you alone are the one that has to pull that trigger and make that decision. Surprising how few ever really realize this simple fact and put the work into what is required after its realization.

Maybe work is not what most want, hence the reason for their ultimate failures in this business?

Sometimes the mentality here at ET simply amazes me.

    "Elite" indeed!

right on - exactly my opinion.

but some people just can't accept that - so they continue to enter threads and start their ramblings and sooner or later call everyone clueless who does not recognize how to make 3 times the daily range, etc.
