I'm thinking the same but I feel you are way more bearish about the collapse of bitcoin than I am

    Whats your time horizon

Whats the base price for an absolute bottom in bitcoin?

  3. I'm never bullish or bearish as that implies being a fanboy...I simply follow the probabilities. This is just projecting the previous halvening rally and subsequent retrace to the current post halvening rally.

  4. How does that make any difference? You have to sell it on an exchange at some point...or purchase something which will then have to be accounted for. If the government implements an unauthorized gains tax hodlrs are going to have to pay up, heck, they could do one more and make crypto exempt from long term capital gain status and tax on 100% of gains.

They can raise the capital gain inclusion rate at any time and it will be applied back to the genesis of crypto not just from the date the tax is passed. This has been done with real estate a number of times.

Well in general, charts do not clairvoyant powers; they do not predict the future. They only reflect what happened and we all try to forecast what's going to happen according to the past that's reflected in the charts. Past does not always represent the future but then again it may and many times it does especially when the same circumstances and environment continues.

That's why trading is so fun. You get to be a prophet and profit from it. LOL

you don't need to sell on an exchange. you can do peer to peer. or even sell your entire wallet to someone else.

Legally still liable for capital gains.

This opens a new door to digital money laundering and OTC exchanges in the dark markets.

Typical governments stuff... punish the honest ones, favour the criminals.

As they say in Italy: "The law is made, the loophole is found."

  8. Lol good luck with that. Can't own anything because they're going to take it from you. Just pay the tax man... You got to pay it anyway even if they don't implement an unrealized gains tax.

It's not hard to predict the backstory for a 80% retrace.

DOJ and US Treasury will take down Tether; the biggest fraud in the history of the world.

We had FTX collapse the last cycle at the very bottom, this time it's going to be Tether.

  10. Damnit. Already I can see woke Trudeau writing tomorrow's speech for Canada's parliament on how great and 'progressive' the country of Denmark is.... we need to follow their ideals!
