It was a legal democratic act taken by duly elected Wisconsin officials. Not one person loses their job. Taxs are not increased. The budget is balanced. Where is the problem? This is clearly a victory of good over bad, light over darkness, illumination over ignorance. Bad for unions but definitely good for America.
Wondering where you are coming up with this statement RCG. AFAIK Christie isn't considering a run yet and Romney and Huckabee are now the front-runners, and have been for awhile.
The left is desperate for the republican candidates to be indentified so they can heap hatred upon them. They (libtards) are like a cow that must be milked daily. They are becoming full and bloated with hatred. Its got to manifest towards someone and soon.
Yeah, it was a legal action that when the Dems use it somewhere down the road you guys will be pissing and moaning about it. The budget will be balanced, although that's not the part they voted on last night, but it will get balanced, on the backs of the working class while giving tax breaks to people we "hope" will trickle back some jobs. Seeing how that hasn't happened for the last 30 f'n years, I won't be holding my breath. The money keeps getting funneled upwards, and that's where it will stay.
Yeah and wait till you see the republicans deploy the left's latest invention, avoiding legislative sessions to deny a quorum.
The onus is now on Walker to have those 250K jobs appear out of nowhere. We'll see if his corporate buddies come through, and MacD jobs don't count. Anything that pays less than 40K annually isn't a real job in today's world. When and if that happens I'll be the first to congratulate him. When it doesn't, I'll be pointing that out as well. Day one...where da' jobs Governor?
Right, but the entire household income for Wisconsin is: 21 Wisconsin $49,993 Might be 2 McJobs? Way to politicized at this point. Read as destroying unions right to bargain, probably not the best overall initial stance. If I recall, the unions, and I'm seriously not a fan of unions for several reasons, did agree to concessions that would make sense for Wisconsin. After doing so, then they're told that they would lose all their bargaining right? I think Walker is just trying to ride a wave on a national stage instead of simply addressing his state's issues. Teachers? Some say the move is similar to when the Plantation owner hears the price of cotton is going down, he cuts the food rations for his workers rather than interere with his profits. Not saying that, but maybe thinking that. c
Not sure where this comment is coming from. You do realize that over 1/2 the people in this country make less than your $40K number right. In most states, a job around $20/hr is considered a legit job.
Huckabee is dead in the water. It will prolly be Romney as I have gone on record as saying, but Christie will/should figure nationally next year I think.
