“Until this month, President Trump had not made more than 60 false claims in any single week of his presidency. He has now made 100 false claims in each of the last two weeks,” the Toronto Star reports.

“After shattering his old record by uttering an astonishing 103 false claims two weeks ago, an average of 14.7 per cent, Trump delivered precisely 100 false claims last week, an average of 14.3 per day.”

French President Emmanuel Macron has denied President Trump’s claim that NATO allies have agreed to boost defense spending beyond 2 percent of gross domestic product, the AP reports.

Said Macron: “There is a communique that was published yesterday. It’s very detailed. It confirms the goal of 2 percent by 2024. That’s all.”

Macron also denied reports that Trump threatened to withdraw the United States from the NATO military alliance in a dispute over funding.

Progressively, ah the biggest lie of all! Why don't you guys just admit you are socialists, communists or islamists or all of them all at once? There is nothing progressive about Socialism, Communism or even Islamism. You still seek to take power by any means necessary. Using the word Progressive hides you from others what you actually are! Just tell us you are a Socialist, Communist or Islamist and you would have more credibility because you would be speaking the truth!

Trump insisted at his joint press conference with British prime minister Theresa May that he did not criticize her in his explosive interview with The Sun even though the audio of the entire interview was published.

Said Trump: “I didn’t criticize the prime minister. I have a lot of respect for the prime minister and unfortunately there was a story that was done which was generally fine, but it didn’t put in what I said about the prime minister… And I said tremendous things… they didn’t put it in the headline, I wish they put that in the headline.”

He also accused the British tabloid of being “fake news.”

Trump denies he said something that he said on a tape everyone has heard

Trump falsely claimed that CNN did not report on his snub of the network’s White House correspondent Jim Acosta at a news conference the previous day, The Hill reports.

Tweeted Trump: “So funny! I just checked out Fake News CNN, for the first time in a long time (they are dying in the ratings), to see if they covered my takedown yesterday of Jim Acosta (actually a nice guy) They didn’t! But they did say I already lost in my meeting with Putin. Fake News……”

”But the incident was widely covered, including by CNN, who featured Acosta reacting directly and suggesting that the president’s comment itself was ‘fake news.’”

Trump’s words are getting more dishonest over time, the Toronto Star has found in the first detailed statistical analysis of his inaccurate statements in office.”

“The analysis relies on some subjective judgments, which we’ll explain in detail below. But it provides the most comprehensive picture yet available of what historians say is an unprecedented avalanche of serial lying.”
