Canada has a identical problem with morbidly overpaid govt. union workers and their taxpayer funded cadillac retirement plans. A union guy with highschool grade 12 education and DL can drive a street sweeper for few hrs and pull in excess of 100K CAD . City park services cleaning dog poop make excess of 60K with overtime. The union managers hand out 8hrs + overtime for work that can be done in 20 minutes. The MPs get excessive benefits for life. Canada's massive natural resource wealth is masking this systemic rot.
Wow that was amazing to read. I guess i knew it was bad but I didn't realize it was that bad. Who ever heard of a railsystem that was free? I'm pretty sure there would be riots here too if we shut down SS or Medicare.
