In Illinois - 70% of those on Medicaid are fully employed. In Kentucky - 68% of those on Medicaid are fully employed. In South Dakota - 75% of those on Medicaid are fully employed. Most people on Medicaid are elderly, children, and working adults who have disabilities. In addition, rural communities will be hit the hardest by the cuts in Medicaid. Reminder, these are typically low-income individuals with jobs who do not pay enough for them to afford proper health insurance. It's the reason why they use Medicaid. Illinois, Kentucky, and South Dakota are states I grew up in. More importantly, I have siblings who live in those states in which they see on a daily basis those in great need of Medicaid. I have a sister in Illinois who is an emergency room head nurse. I have a brother in South Dakota who is a Doctor at a children hospital. I have a another brother in Kentucky who is an EMT. Both my brothers work in rural communities and they live in Rural communities. In contrast, my sister works and lives in an Urban community. States with the largest Medicaid Recipients wrbtrader
As a tax payer, we have a moral obligation to prevent adding 5 trillion to the national debt so millionaires and billionaires can get tax cuts.
Not nearly as big a problem as paying 900 billion a year in interest on the national debt and than adding another 5 trillion in debt so the rich can get tax cuts.
No need to compare, they're both problems. Most welfare recipients are marginally employable because of low IQs.
The US is paying 900 billion a year on national debt interest, this is before BBB. The yearly cost for the unemployed on medicaid is 11 billion. The new yearly interest on the 5 billion in debt from BBB will be more than the 11 billion spent on the yearly cost of the unemployed on medicaid. Want to talk about low IQ? Low IQ is the Trump supporting idiots praising BBB because it has medicaid work requirements, even though the interest on BBB will cost more than the government was spending on the unemployed on medicaid
One problem is a 900 billion a year problem (even more now due to BBB). The other problem is a 11 billion dollar a year problem (if you think its a problem). Only those with a low IQ would think theres no need to compare.
Can you provide us a link to the paragraph in the Bill that reduces the Federal tax rate from the current rate for those residing in the upper bracket?
