surf, we are all different thankfully. for me in the past i spent 18hrs a day studying something until it proved edge or not. once it was proven worthless i moved on. the only thing the extra time does is bring you faster to understanding the particular "subject" so to speak. i happen to come from a very hardworking family so spending time was easy...plus if you take out internet posting and television..you would have the time to master something far sooner than your fruitless 30 year endeavor in the markets.
Rarely losing Days, not trades, why? Because they don't pump 90% of their net worth into a single call which will develop over days weeks and possibly months. Their exit signals appear a lot faster there for the amount lost is less and easily made up for by the wins. Simple stuff.
