Find your self a bucket prop shop gents or lend several million from creditors for absolute stress free guaranteed result trading ~ its the only way!
your call is based on other rational than TA but you describe it in terms of TA. Interesting. I do not get this impression when I come across your support, resistance, top, bottom, retracements, type of verbiage. Don't get me wrong, I am not a TA believer either and yes I agree with you on lots of confused and mislead people here that advocate TA and mislead even more confused beginners. So, why not describing your calls then on the rational that you based your decisions on which, as you claim, originated from methodologies other than TA?
Sh!t! That would have been an insurmountable stumbling block to a newbie who took my advice word for word after screaming f! retail on his third day!
prop shop doesn't exist in my city and here is a main financial center in the world. I guess prop shop is just an idea to earn your money through transaction like what brokerage does, but at least brokerage would not pretend they can make you become a godlike trader.
you gotta stop posting here and read too much on this board. First grab some books, read, read a lot and learn. Then come back. You will really benefit from it and above all, everyone else who reads your posts.
The best traders in ET should post a public record to prove that they actually put their money where their mouth is. At least one of the names mentioned in this thread is most likely not very successful at trading. I always thought the posts by Cheese were very thought provoking and if he speaks the truth - he's probably the most successful day trader on ET. I also enjoyed reading posts from JustDoingIt and got the impression he was the real deal. There are some good contents in his posts. None of these ever posted any records and I don't think they would have any interest in doing so either. But I enjoyed reading their posts, particularly Cheese, who went in great detail while at the same time not revealing his method. I've been told that the glory days of ET were way back and that there were some really successful traders back then who were actively posting both quality content on trading and blotters. ET nowadays seems to be mostly noise, flaming and bashing, although there is the rare good content.
Retail and proud! Now I understand to get the respect of the biggest incoherent inconsistent lying abusive spite filled trolls around here and not be called vile and ignorant, one needs to head a fund or prop-shop. Putting aside how ridiculous it would be to want the respect of the big-boys club, the small point that NONE OF YOU DO only adds to my laughter here. So yes retail ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) And remember newbies, if you ever want to make a dime in the market RUN to a professional! Open a multimillion fund before you have even had a consistent year, its the only way! Prop shop!
