Thank you for acknowledging that he uses volume and thank you for not replying via saying aliens and Obama told me that. Also, thank you for acknowledging that he uses twitter to communicate with his trading pals. I'll repeat the following... 1) He does not use technical indicators. He does not use technical trading. 2) He does use volume analysis but not the one associated with charts. Instead, the volume analysis he does is associated with the bid/ask/T&S screens. That's normal because many ET members do the same. They often call themselves DOME traders. 3) He does use charts to help him select what he plans to trade. Yet, he does no technical analysis. You stated he does not use charts. That is false and that's the real itch you have considering each time I say that...you then try to discuss something else. By the way, many ET members use charts and does not use technical indicators and does not use technical trading. I think you're having a hard time understanding that and prefer to believe when someone opens a chart and does not put indicators on that chart...you think that means they are not using the chart. 4) He does use twitter to communicate with his trading pals about trading. I do not know what he says in private messaging on twitter to his close trading friends and I do not know if its trading information he's not willing to share with the public nor do I care. 5) He hides his identity because "he said" he fears being robbed or extorted. Yet, strangely, he uses twitter and other social media to talk about his favorite places, where he's going and sometimes when he's going. 6) He has a very large twitter following...almost 90k. Some are gamblers, some are gamers and some are traders. 7) I do not follow his tweets although he is on my follow list. In fact, the last tweet I've read by CIS was back in December or November 2015 and what I read about his tweet was a re-tweet (quote) by someone else that I follow on tweetdeck. I stated I use "tweetdeck" to follow key news events...I've been saying such and recommending tweetdeck for many years now. I follow almost 160 people/traders/market sources on twitter and on from that list I follow about +35 traders on tweetdeck. My favorite market info is from someone that works at the ECB and someone else that works at the IMF...both very reliable and their news very accurate. Simply, twitter is useful...you just got to find your trusted resources. In fast, CIS once stated he follows closely a trusted list of traders on twitter. Regardless, if you prefer to ignore the fact that his trades occurs soon after a news event he discusses or his trades occurred soon after someone on his follow list that's been discussing the news event with him... You then prefer to believe he's not using news event in his trading...that's your choice and we can agree to disagree. 8) He openly stated several times that the reason why he keeps his identity private is because he fears of being robbed or extorted. Yet, he has an online twitter account in which he sometimes announces where he hangs out and when he's meeting people. Something just doesn't add up...don't you think ? 9) Twitter is an excellent resource for communicating with other traders around the world especially in private. Many institutional traders do such when they're trying to co-ordinate their trades with each other in an effort to move prices in a specific direction...such is illegal. I'm not suggesting that's what CIS is doing privately but it is possible considering he does very large trades...such would be noticeable by the exchange and the broker. There's also the fact that he has such a very large follow list by gamers, gamblers and traders. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out what could happen if/when you announce your trades on twitter in real-time with almost 90k followers and probably just as many on other social medias. Simply, maybe there's another reason why he keeps his identity secret just like others that use twitter for private communication with other traders.
I am happy to discuss about CIS and BNF but only base on what we know instead of guessing. 1, 2. I never said he uses classical kind of technical analysis or related stuff. I said he uses price action and volume with some strategies that we just don't know. 3. I don't know if he uses chart or not, I cannot find any source saying he uses chart. BNF didn't use chart in interview videos. the rest about Twitter: CIS likes to trash talk in Twitter. We have no idea if he follows other traders or whatever, it is all you claim he is without any prove. You definitely like your Twitter idea so it is even harder for us to believe how you talk about CIS may uses Twitter as a resource. Honestly I don't think CIS knows how to read non Japanese Twitters stuff online, then means he can only follow other Japanese traders. Within Japanese trader, only traders in Banks or Government should know some insider news, and in Japan most of the people never change their jobs in their lives, most of them work in one company forever. Work as a trader or important position in government is like godlike job for them, do you think those people would share stuff online in Twitters in Japanese? Base on what I know about Japanese they would not take that risk while they work in that company forever and stay in company much more than at home especially they get that great job position in Japan. Most of them are very conservative, they don't even talk in subway, it is their culture. How would you expect they would share some important insider news? I am not surprised CIS privately message other great personal traders to discuss what could be the big picture or coming trend. It is nothing about twitter because he just uses private message anyway for serious discussion with other pro level personal traders. He definitely did that while he was using blog, and he knew BNF through blog private talking as well. If you want to prove your twitter idea works, show us few twitters accounts and show us how their words really predict future. If you cannot show even one twitter account that has some right predictions, there is no point to talk about Twitter stuff at all.
1) CIS uses charts to select or confirm what he knows about the trading instrument. He does not use indicators or technicals. That's not a claim...its a fact. 2) There are traders that CIS listens too...its not a claim...its a fact. What I don't know is if he communicates privately to those traders but it would make sense if he does. I have not claim any thing differently. 3) I never said how I (as in me) use twitter words predict future. I never said that CIS or I can predict the future. Instead, I gave you a list of names of companies that use twitter and other social media to analyze tweets and then those companies sells their analyzes (real-time) to the world's top financial institutions...some of those financial institutions use the information for algorithm trading. Yes, I will now post a link to one of those companies that work with wall street and that company called iSentium that works with several of the world's top quantitative hedge funds believes it can predict the future and companies are paying them millions per year to do such...not me. Simply, that info I gave you has NOTHING to do with CIS and I was clear about that when I posted info just as I am clear right now with you. Its info I gave you just in case you said twitter is not useful. I even posted to you the direct links that verify that wall street uses twitter for their trade decisions in which you have either ignored or got confused with other info. Once again, I think its weird how you've continued to fabricate that I said something when in fact I did not. I did not say anything about predicting the future. I will now assume this debate is simply because you have a problem in reading English. Regardless, here are more links about twitter as a useful resource for wall street when they make their trade decisions. http://www.wsj.com/articles/tweets-give-birds-eye-view-of-stocks-1436128047 https://blog.twitter.com/2016/twitter-data-and-financial-markets-fundamental-and-consumer-analysis http://www.ft.com/cms/s/2/99a7e7ec-4fea-11e5-8642-453585f2cfcd.html#axzz43SVnDgiu http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/0/c464d944-ee75-11e4-98f9-00144feab7de.html#axzz43SVnDgiu The above links has nothing to do with CIS or me except the fact that I'm the one that consistently post links about twitter and wall street at this forum. At the above links you see many companies in fact are in such a business. You can easily type the names of those companies in Google search and then contact them with questions about "please prove to me that twitter is useful". I do not need to prove anything to you...just do your own research. Lets now get back to my personal use of twitter. I use something called "tweetdeck". If you need the link...use Google and go to their website. I setup several columns of key words that I consider to be important in my trading. Thus, key words I use are most likely not important to you because you don't trade what I trade. Once again, I'm sure you know how to use Google and I don't need to prove anything to you involving my own custom key words especially since you want to believe I get all my information from aliens and Obama although the links above say otherwise. By the way, Bloomberg and Thomas Reuters give their clients access to filtered tweets that have been algorithm segregated from the noise. I'm not joking...Obama did not tell me that (sarcasm). Who has access to those filter tweets ? The worlds top hedge funds, top financial firms and top private traders that can afford to pay for the information. I first head about it from an institutional trading pal (a relative) and I didn't believe it until I did my own research. If you don't believe the info at the above links...that's your problem because I've seen tweets change the direction of price action. In fact, one such occurrence is specifically discussed at one of the above links involving a "fake tweet" from a hack AP twitter account...resulting in traders reacting negatively to the tweet and then immediately the Dow Jones dropped 140 points before they realized it was a fake tweet. I saw such happen in real-time. The reaction occurred within 3 seconds after the fake tweet from a reliable source...AP. That's just one example posted by resources like Reuters, Bloomberg, FT, CNBC and many others about specific tweets having an impact on market direction. Also, traders or whatever they are called at the exchange use twitter. In another thread, I gave a link to an interview about a CNBC reporter on the exchange floor interviewing a floor trader that seem to be standing by himself not be able to keep his eyes of this mobile hand held device he had. The reporter walked over to him and asked what is that...he replied...twitter. My point with all the above about twitter, news, algorithms...the issue is not CIS. The issue is that you're searching for the "best strategy that's publicly shared" based upon the title of your thread. I'm hear to inform you that you're looking in the wrong direction because the world's top financial institutions and top traders are not just using strategies. In contrast, they're using other things to help with their trade decisions while someone like you continues dismissing or under-estimating what's being used by those that actually moves the markets.
1) Here is a bloomberg reporter met CIS and he said CIS uses price action and volume but he didn't say CIS use chart. If you believe CIS uses chart, show some prove. No link no prove then you cannot say it is a fact it is just what you believe. 2) show us a link, again no link no prove just what you believe or you claim. 3) same as 2), you type many words but zero link for a useful twitter account. What you tried to show us was that follow some insider news accounts may help us to predict the future, but your links talk about how some big funds co opperate with Twitter to get basically all twitters account information to get the mood of all people. It is nothing related to how can a single person like you and I who have no way seeing that massive data. It is totally 2 different stories. I am sure US gov can get data from google to find out what people are searching and then predict the stock market movement as well, but it has nothing to do with me as a single person because I can never do it. So what is your point of your links? Show us that we cannot do that as a person while those giant funds can cooperate with Twitter company? You still haven't show us one single twitter account that can have some prediction power then why do you keep talking? You have zero links just some links show us what we cannot do as a single person.
All you're doing is reposting my old links. The guy uses charts to select or confirm what he's going to be trading but he just doesn't use any technical information. I can care less if he looks at the chart for a few minutes or all day. The time duration of his use is not important to the fact that a chart was used to contrast what you said he "does not use charts". Have you reviewed the chat room logs ? I've visited 100s of chat rooms since 1998 (U.S., Japanese and French). My old user name (a Japanese martial arts name and candlestick term name) and I know a lot of Japanese traders...I still do including a few institutional traders from Japan that have also visited the same chat rooms. No aliens and no Obama has informed me about the chat rooms (I'm not talking about twitter right now because there was no twitter back then). Back then it was mainly bulletin boards and IRC being used by traders. I will now assume that the reason why you're no longer asking me to prove twitter is useful is because those links were proof enough and you're now just going to ask for proof about CIS and his chart use. 1) You believe he does not open a single chart. 2) You believe he does not use news events in his trade decisions. I strongly disagree and we just need to leave it at that because you're just searching for info I refuse to give you after you said my info comes from aliens and Obama.
I watch the youtube I just posted, the bloomberg reported who met CIS clearly said that he does NOT use chart!
so my youtube clear shows that CIS does not use chart, where is your link showing what you claim that he uses chart? I didn't see any.
Do you also believe he's a multi-millionaire trader that sits in a rented apartment and trades out of his bedroom in his pajamas ? All the above information is also with the news stories to add to his legend. Heck, I remember once on IRC in which someone saids the guy lives in a cubicle prior to getting a rented apartment. Simply, I don't believe everything I hear about CIS in the news stories. The Youtube link that I posted many times before you along with other links I've posted many times. You can repost those links as many times as you want to convince yourself. I know for fact that everything is not true in those smiley face reporter interviews whom are not online traders and whom were not in the old chat rooms. They only have access to his twitter tweets. Anybody that knows me via my old user name in the chat rooms already know I do not share my archive chat logs with anyone especially with some anonymous poster that believes I get my info from aliens and Obama. P.S. My logs go back to 1998. They cover just about every big news market event since 1998 involving anything that was posted in many FREE chat rooms I use to hang out in. In addition, I stopped maintaining logs of bullentin boards in 2004 but I continue maintaining my chat room logs. You will never have access to them unless someone else did the same as me and you find them. By the way, some of those chat rooms are French and others are Japanese and some are English. Good luck in your translation if you can find someone with the same logs. P.S.S. Seriously, wake up. You killed the communication between us via the insult from you towards me about saying I get my info from aliens and Obama. I'll never understand why people come here to this forum and can't figure out why nobody shares with them any useful information after they insult the person. You can ask any ET member for verification that I do not share anything with anyone that insults me. It's really that simple. Next time, be careful whom you insult if you need info.
