The Best Presidential Team for 2008 - includes a Clinton.

  1. That's easy:

    A) Bill Clinton's 'halo effect' boosted Al Gore.
    B) Look who he ran against. Even for the average American, it's hard to miss the fact that Dubya has always been completely unqualified to be president. If not for his Bush family 'birthright', this guy wouldn't stand a snowball's chance of getting anywhere near the white house.

Had Bush grown up in a modest, middle class household in Hope, Arkansas... He'd just be 'George the factory worker' or 'George
the ranch hand', making under $40,000/year and drowning in credit card debt.

  2. In other words depending on the situation in 2008 Al Gore does stand a chance after all. :) I mean he already won once (well he lost on a technicality).

  3. Hard to imagine someone as stupid as GW...then again...

SouthAmerica: I loved the exchange that Bill Clinton had last Friday with Chris Wallace of Fox News – which was broadcasted to the public on Sunday.

It is about time for former President Bill Clinton to fight back against the right-wingers and the Bush administration – a bunch of people who have been doing almost nothing in the last 5 years to protect the United States from another terrorist attack in US soil.

On Monday, September 25, 2006 The New York Times editorial “ Chemical Plants, Still Unprotected” – the editorial started by saying: “Congress still has done nothing to protect Americans from a terrorist attack on chemical plants. Republican leaders want to give the impression that that has changed.

…But Congress has not yet passed a law to secure the nation’s chemical plants, even though an attack on just one plant could kill or injure as many as 100,000 people…..”

The Republicans control the presidency, the senate, and the House of Representatives – And they have been doing nothing for the last 5 years regarding the security of the chemical plants in the USA.

Clinton blasts Fox host: 'Nice little conservative hit job... You think you're so clever'

Former President Bill Clinton entered a heated exchange with host Chris Wallace on this week's episode of Fox News Sunday, leaving Clinton red-faced and fuming, RAW STORY has learned.

During the exchange, the former head of state attacked Wallace's criticism of Clinton's attempts to deal with terrorism, summing it up as "Fox's bidding," and a "nice little conservative hit job."

"At least I tried," Clinton argued.

"That's the difference in me and some, including all the right-wingers who are attacking me now. They ridiculed me for trying."

"They had eight months to try," he continued. "They did not try. I tried. So I tried and failed. When I failed, I left a comprehensive anti-terrorist strategy, and the best guy in the country, Dick Clarke, who got demoted."

Clinton went on to attack Fox itself, questioning why it was holding him responsible for failings in US security, without holding current officials to the same standard.

"You've got that little smirk on your face," he blasted at Wallace. "You think you're so clever."

We're just gonna keep bringin the price of gas down till the election, and if that's not enough, we'll release osama bin laden's body from where we have it hidden, and then just sit back and watch the 'smart' people whine and cry about how it's all so unfair.

Kinda funny, too, on a thread titled Clinton(hillary) on presidental ticket to see it said that bush is only pres because of his name.
