the best moving averages to trade Forex are...

  1. Lol. Have they cleaned up their act some sine the Lehman blowup? Why not migrate to a real ECN.. oh no, what, we've had this discussion before. :D

    Nah, the real market plays too rough for me, I'm a trading wus, didn't I just read somewhere about a 2,000 pip spike on Gbp/Chf which the broker says was a legit quote [​IMG]

    After reading what Cable said about the Eur/Aud, I had to take a look.

    I started with the daily chart, and thought kazammy bam this would be fun to swing trade.

    I later went down to the 5min, and thought by golly this would be fun to scalp.

    Finally, I got to the 15min chart, and wowza this would be cool to momentum trade.

    I plotted the 7 & 30 EMA, and RSI.

    Use a 7/30 EMA cross for entries, and RSI for exits. It looks good while static, but who knows how it would work live??

    I'm trying to learn how to trade long term, but darnit I'm an action junky.

    I have a hard time allowing profits to run. I have the impulse to grab whatever money I can make, and run.

    I wonder if most controlling people have this 'problem'?
