The "best" companies are actually more prone to fail?

  1. Stellar companies tend to fail more than good but not outstanding ones?

    Just look at the Dow Jones historic components, few last many decades.

    Maybe stellar companies get insane competition?
    Or its the neverending sky-high expectations from them (and the stupid moves to try to obtain top results forever), that brings them down?
