No, such as breaking up the banks and reforming Wall Street. Such as Caring for Vets. Fighting to Lower Prescription Drug Prices. Closing of Corporate Tax Loopholes. That sorta stuff.
I gotta say I'm impressed with Uncle Bernie. I thought he was toast a month ago. He's a complete economic illiterate, but I genuinely like the guy. And TT is right above ^^^ You just wonder how nasty the The Shrill will get. Man, if she loses again to an old white guy, after losing to a young black guy, might just do the whole Clinton family in.
Are you saying he's lying vs. what I posted, which was from his website? Are you saying he has no intention of going after the banks, etc? Who are you to tell me what should be important to me? Do I tell you what you should consider important? No one on here - no one - is a more ardent defender of the 2nd amendment than me. But some things are more important - such as the complete and total reconstruction of a fair and working Wall Street.
Clinton, Sanders to meet for Brooklyn debate "(CNN)Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton have agreed to meet for a Democratic debate on CNN and NY1 on April 14, five days before a crucial primary election in New York state. The debate will take place in Brooklyn and will be moderated by CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer, who led two GOP debates earlier this election season. CNN chief political correspondent Dana Bash and NY1 political anchor Errol Louis will join in the questioning of the candidates. NY1 is the main 24-hour cable news channel in New York City. Both CNN and NY1 will carry the debate live from 9 to 11 p.m. Eastern. The announcement ends days of back-and-forth between the two campaigns about exactly when and how to debate in advance of the New York primary. The Sanders campaign originally called for a Democratic debate in New York months ago. But narrowing it down to an exact date proved difficult. The Sanders and Clinton campaigns sparred in private and in public about what date and time was best. Over the weekend the Clinton campaign focused on the April 14 date, and Sanders made clear he wanted a debate in Brooklyn. Sanders had also cited his campaign's plans for a major rally in Washington Square Park that evening. On Monday the city's mayor, Bill de Blasio, a Clinton supporter, sought to ease the way forward. "Let's make @ny1 4/14 BKLYN debate happen," he tweeted. "@BernieSanders: I'll help you secure any permit you need to ensure your NYC rally can happen too." It will be held at the Duggal Greenhouse on the Brooklyn Navy Yard, the borough where Sanders was born and where Clinton has her campaign headquarters..." http://www.cnn.com/2016/04/04/politics/democratic-debate-brooklyn/index.html?adkey=bn
In times such as these, times where the nation, dare I say the world is lost and wandering, those who speak their minds will simultaneously be both ends of the magnet.
Having a socialist redo our financial system is more important than defending the Second Amendment? A socialist who has ardently argued for complete amnesty for illegals , open borders and bringing in vast numbers of muslim "refugees?'' Whatever.
