Pie, may I remind you that you assured us that obamacare could not be used by illegals? After all, that is what the law said. You seemed astounded that they ignored it and got free benefits anyway.
So what about the people that say Corporate welfare is a necessary evil? So you are ok with the US policing the world, and the rest of the world doesn't pay a dime in taxes for it? That is the ultimate free lunch and incompatible with Capitalism. No wonder Trump is striking a chord. The real reason it happens is because of the massive contracts to Ratheon, General Dynamics, Lockhead Martin, Northrop Grumman and $600 billion more a year ad-infinitum. It is about MONEY. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top_100_Contractors_of_the_U.S._federal_government Every American should emigrate on those terms to Nordic countries. Why not? America is a shit hole to live in, but they will spend lots of money to protect you living in Norway and Germany and Denmark and Sweden and Greece etc, where you get killer healthcare and taxpayer funded high quality education. And if the big bad wolf comes and gets you, American kids will be there giving their lives for you while their american parents pay for them to die for a foreign interest. Nice.
Hilary helping do "Gods work". And this De Blasio almost certainly believes in Santa Claus too... De Blasio Says Clinton Need Not Disclose Her Wall Street Talks "New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton doesn’t need to release transcripts of speeches she gave to employees of Wall Street firms such as the Goldman Sachs Group Inc., for which she was paid hundreds of thousands of dollars. De Blasio, who endorsed Clinton in October after remaining neutral for several months, said Clinton’s stand on Wall Street regulation was more important than what she may have said privately to groups of executives. “My blunt view is that I care what she says in her platform,” de Blasio said after being questioned about the issue by MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski on Wednesday morning. “Her platform would rein in Wall Street excesses more even than Bernie Sanders’s would. A lot of progressives have said that.” De Blasio, the first Democrat to be elected mayor of New York in 20 years, ran on a self-described progressive platform that included higher taxes on the wealthy and programs to address income inequality such as all-day universal pre-kindergarten and higher wages and benefits for the poor and low-income workers. Clinton, who represented New York in the U.S. Senate from 2001 to 2009, made speeches at Goldman Sachs, UBS and other financial institutions in 2013 and 2014 and has collected millions in speaking fees over the years. Partisans of Vermont of Senator Bernie Sanders, her Democratic opponent, have been pressing her to release transcripts or recordings of the talks. Sanders, who has built his campaign on the issue of income inequality, has blamed financial institutions for causing the 2008 financial crisis. “Hillary said it very clearly: We cannot have a country where Wall Street can create the kind of problems that it did almost a decade ago,” said de Blasio. “We need clearer restrictions, clearer balance, and that’s what her platform calls for.”.." http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/a...inton-need-not-disclose-her-wall-street-talks
you keep saying the the owned by private shareholders not govt shareholders FED is posting all its transactions. But that is a misrepresentation... that was the whole point of what Bernie was telling you. They do not detail all their transactions. Here is are articles detailing FED once secret loans and data... and there are many more. So don't go telling us the FED discloses every thing. You have zero knowledge and zero clarity on the subject... and it goes against history. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...data-compiled-by-bloomberg-released-to-public secret fed loans undisclosed to Congress http://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...d-to-congress-gave-banks-13-billion-in-income
Hmn. Once secret? Are the once secret transactions still secret? You must have a secret inside track. Pretty impressive! Oh, and by the way, 1) the Fed doesn't give , money away, and 2. Banks in trouble is still a secret. You won't find out about it, from the Fed at least, until the FDIC shows up, or well after those banks have increased their capital reserves and are out of the woods.. There is an obvious reason for this, but I don't suppose someone such of yourself would be capable of grasping it..
I will just say... they were once secret until they were sued and lost... that should disabuse any sentient being from thinking the FED discloses all their transactions. Those transactions were not just for banks... but for businesses and countries all over the world. not just u.s. taxpayers. your FDIC analogy is not on point. Finally you have no idea if the FED gives money away. . it credited billions and billions or was it 1.4 trillion to the accounts of banks buying up shit loans and let dealers make 10s of million in commissions on the deals. (I presented a post on the subject a month or 2 ago for you.) Also last I checked we have no idea how much money the FED has created all over the world because the fed does not even track M3 for us anymore.
Not just any banks all over the world! Central banks. That's a critical distinction. Just as our trading partners' Central Banks work with the Fed to facilitate foreign exchange and make sure we have adequate reserves to facilitate trade, it is doubly important that the Fed maintain similar facilities because the U.S. dollar is still the major currency for international transactions.
All corporate welfare should be eliminated. No, either other nations contribute military resources, or money. They gotta pay, like Trump says. Ever hear of General Smedly Butler? Marine Corps General? War is a rackett. Wrote the book. Also was approached by the then owners of the Federal Reserve to overthrow the United States Government and install a Corporate Fascist state in America. True story. Old as the hills etc.
