The final results are in from Nevada and it looks like we’re going to leave another state with roughly the same number of delegates as Hillary Clinton, maybe down just a few.

I want to be completely clear with you about what this result means: Nevada was supposed to be a state "tailor made" for the Clinton campaign, and a place she once led by almost 40 points. But today, we sent a message that will stun the political and financial establishment of this country: our campaign can win anywhere.

There are 26 primaries and caucuses in the next month, and three straight positive results for our campaign are sure to prompt an over-the-top response from the millionaires and billionaires who are funding our opponent and her many super PACs.

We have to be prepared for their best shot, because it’s coming:

Make another $20 contribution to our campaign tonight and we are going to win this Democratic primary, the White House, and take our country back from the billionaire class.

We’re closing the gap dramatically in states that have yet to vote, and there’s a path to victory for our political revolution. If we continue to stand together, we’ll continue to win.

    In solidarity,

    Bernie Sanders

  4. Gotta love Bernie, but the responsible boring rational part of me knows that Hill is the better choice all around.

She has a real problem with young and white male liberal voters. They may not vote Republican, but they could certainly stay home.

On the other hand, there is a train wreck in progress on the other side.

Bernie Sanders Once Called for the Abolition of the CIA. So Did Harry Truman.

"Bernie Sanders called the CIA “a dangerous institution that has got to go” at a debate in 1974. The democratic socialist has since backed down from that stance. Today, as he mounts his insurgent campaign for the Democratic nomination, the Vermont senator merely seeks to increase oversight of the agency. But according to Politico, several Democratic insiders believe that abolishing the CIA is such a radical notion, Sanders's 40-year-old quote disqualifies him from the presidency...."

Bernie is toast. There is no way he can catch, much less pass, Hillary in delegates. I give him until the end of April when he will "suspend" his campaign and endorse Hillary. He just doesn't have the votes or the money.

The more I learn about this guy the more impressive he becomes. And now I learn that he wants greater oversight over the CIA. What's not to like about this guy. There are positions of his that I am not enthusiastic about. Nevertheless, as a true Libertarian, one of the few here apparently, I like this guy, Just as I liked Kerry when he stood up against the Vietnam War and told the truth when it wasn't popular; just as I liked Ellsberg when he risked going to prison for the sake of truth, and just as I like Snowden for telling the truth, I like Sanders. I like brave people who will do what their heart and brain is telling them to do even when it is unpopular. Truth is the most powerful weapon against the ingrained, darker elements of our social nature.
