The Green Bay Packers are to the NFL, what Bernie Sanders is to the political establishment:

Are the Green Bay Packers Socialists?

    Abstract:
The Green Bay Packers are an oft-misunderstood organization — not in the decisions that the Packers make, but in their legal status and structure. Scholars, commentators, and even the general public refer to the Packers as “community-owned.” While this characterization is true — to a degree — the specifics of this unique ownership structure in professional sports have never been comprehensively documented and analyzed. Perhaps this is the reason that some political pundits have termed the Packers “socialists.” However, such commentators also seem to not fully appreciate the historical development, and contemporary understanding, of this social, economic, and political ideology. This confluence of confusion has led to the misapplication of the term socialism to the Green Bay Packers. This article seeks to set the record straight.

But why is it that when corporations don't pay tax, no one gives a shit? Why is it that when the people that are able open secret Swiss accounts to hide money? Why is it that Wall Street's "Heads I win Tails you lose", doesn't matter to the accounting, when we bailed them out to the tune of trillions? Oh, they payed it back with interest, but people's lives are and were forever tragically harmed?

Is it any wonder we are $18T in debt? Maybe it is a good reason to clean up Washington by nominating Bernie?

are you kidding me...bernie will make it worse...

but note... we despise the fact that GE nuzzled up to Obama and gets to "cheatP on its taxes and pay next to nothing and Buffet owes billions but does the same. We don't like cronyism in any shape or form.

We should have no income taxes for people. competitive income taxes on corps... and then let the politician fight over allocation of the budget. I would hope congress would choose to help people.

But, with the current system the govt overspends... gives away a trillion or so to corps and then tells us we have to raise taxes to support illegal immigrants and those who can't afford to work for minimum wages... which govt just drove down by bringing more labor for the corporations.

The entire system is screwed and I don't understand how thinking people can support it.

They shouldn't pay any tax imo. Let economic activity expand unencumbered, so that businesses can hire as many people as possible, and tax income when those virtual entities pay salaries, dividends, etc to real persons. It's more efficient and can be much more profitable for the country.
