  3. Cool, I love math...here's one more :D

    142857 X 2 = 285714
    142857 X 3 = 428571
    142857 X 4 = 571428
    142857 X 5 = 714285
    142857 X 6 = 857142
The answers above are all rotations of 142857, and finally, the punch line:
    142857 X 7 = 999999

With the same degree of mathematical certainty, one can conclude a nice cup of Tea would equally get one over the top.

Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

Brilliant,Andrasmn, here are some numbers that answers your 101% plus [+] question, not as exact as your numbers. But hope its helpful to trading even though not as exact as yours.
Merry Christmas & prosperous new year.

    If you like longs find a $20, institutional quality stock;
trend follow it up to $40 then 6o+
,thats 200% & more ,if more uptrends. Some are still uptrending.
If one gets 101% out of 200% well done.

If you like downtrends, a $44 financial stock like IMB, $8 would be a logical place to exit downtrends. Not as exact however, it looks like it hit 1998 crash levels of $5.75 ,maybe up ttrending now.

Both typical of good trends-better numbers than most of us figure.
    Happy Thanksgiving also.

  7. How about this one. Start a number sequence with ANY two numbers, Add them together. Take the third number and add to the previous number. Repeat at least a dozen times. Divide the last two numbers. You'll ALWAYS come out with the same number ==> .618

    example:

    2,12,14,26,40,66,106,172,278,450,728,1178,1906.........

    1178/1906 = .618

I think some traders think there's something special about the numbers representing the usual fib series 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13 etc. and use them for their MA's or Tick based charts or whatever.
As you can see any numbers will do the same.
